Caprice Analytics Reporting
Caprice Analytics Reporting is a private desktop reporting application operated by Caprice New Zealand. It supports authorised internal reporting for websites owned or managed by Caprice, including caprice.co.nz and royaldoultonhome.com.
What the application does
The application connects to Google Analytics so authorised Caprice users and Caprice's authorised AI marketing reporting agent can prepare aggregate website-performance and campaign reports.
Google data access
The application requests only the Google Analytics read-only permission (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly). This permits access to Google Analytics account and property information and aggregate reporting data. It does not permit the application to edit Google Analytics properties or tracking settings, or to access unrelated Google Account services.
How data is used
- Google Analytics data is used only for authorised internal website-performance and campaign reporting.
- Aggregate reporting may be analysed by Caprice's authorised AI marketing agent acting on Caprice's instructions.
- Google API data is not sold, used to serve advertising or disclosed to independent third parties.
- Access credentials are held in restricted systems, and reporting data is retained only as long as reasonably required for authorised reporting, security and legal purposes.
Caprice Analytics Reporting's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Privacy and access controls
Read the Caprice New Zealand Privacy Policy for more information. An authorised Google Account holder can revoke the application's access at any time through Google Account third-party connections.
